JAMIE REITENOUR - INDIANA SECRETARY OF STATE CANDIDATE

Cheryl and Ken travelled to Indianapolis on June 9, 2025 to discuss with one of the candidates regarding the position of Indiana Secretary of State.

Jamie Reitenour, one of the candidates, discusses about the upcoming Indiana Secretary of State Republican Convention, her goals, aspirations, and transparency of the position with Hoosiers.

She outlines the role of the Indiana Secretary of States office and the recent public relation issues haunting the current Indiana Secretary of State, Diego Morales.

Surprisingly the current Indiana Republican Leadership decided, yet again, to enact a “pay for play” fee in the December 2024 Republican Rules for any candidate running for any Republican State Convention position. This was without State Delegate approval. Each candidate will pay a fee of 10% of the annual salary of the position to the Indiana Republican Party. This fee provides the privilege to appear on the convention ballot. The Secretary of State candidate will pay approximately $14,000 to the Indiana Republican Party.

Reitenour focused upon elections and business service responsibilities in the interview.
