Music MODES made easy for guitar - A NEW SYSTEM. For example, this video shows how to easily play this B Mixolydian song, "Fire on the Mountain" by The Grateful Dead. This simple new system gives you a new way to quickly play in ANY MODE. Guaranteed!

The first step in this new system for playing modes is to learn this sentence...
"I Do Feel(Ph) Like Modes Are Logical" the sequence of the modes...
Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian
Next, watch this video for step 2... and that is all you need to easily play modes.

ATTENTION THEORY NERDS... all minor scales are in the Aeolian mode (the 6th mode, which is the 6th note in any major scale). FOR EXAMPLE, take the C Major scale and count up to the A note (the 6th note) and play the scale starting from A (not C) and you have the A minor scale which is the A Aeolian scale. EVERY MODE is created by simply starting a given scale from a different note in that scale. So, all modes and minor scales are just variations of major scales. Major scales are the foundation for all minor and modal scales. That is why we learn Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti-Do as children... it is that song for the major scale from which all other scales are created.
