*Silver Fir Campground* is located in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Washington, situated on the Shoreline of North Fork Nooksack River on the very edge of Mount Baker Wilderness, and is one of two Developed Campgrounds (along with Douglas Fir Campground - https://youtu.be/ZK1sKeuVgNU) that serve as an excellent Base Camp to explore this World Class Hiking Zone! *Highlight Hikes* include Chain Lakes Loop, Lake Ann, Goat Mountain, Hannegan Peak, Yellow Aster Butte & Tomyhoi Peak, Winchester Mountain & High Pass, Excelsior Pass & Welcome Pass, Cougar Divide, Heliotrope Ridge & Coleman Glacier, and Skyline Divide - NOT an Exhaustive List! Some of these are better suited for Backpacking Trips, but some could be easily done as a long Day-Hike using Douglas Fir Campground or Silver Fir Campground as your Base Camp.

*There is a Rustic Log Shelter Day Use Picnic Area located between Campsites #4 & #5.* It has both Covered and Uncovered Day Use Picnic Sites with Barbecue Stations!
