LIVING PRUDENTLY IN STEP WITH GOD
Proverbs 22:3 New King James Version
3 A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself,
But the simple pass on and are punished.
GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR, PRECIOUS FRIENDS!!!
As I was reading these interesting verses out of proverbs, another verse from Proverbs came to mind about planning and living prudently in step with God. A very important verse from Proverbs 16:9 that states, “A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” In other words, we can do all the planning, plotting, and scheming that we want, but unless we are allowing God to direct our ways, we're not going to get anywhere. We can make all the seemingly wise plans possible, but without God they're going to fail.
I think that's why this first question from this morning's devotional is really thought provoking to me right now, and I had to share it with you. Please read this question carefully, and I pray that you will allow God to speak to and challenge your heart through it.
What has God shown you about how to plan and a way that honors Him?
Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me out of this morning scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that it will get you not just to thinking about what it means to plan prudently, but to live and walk prudently in step with God. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn this precious and important truth for yourself! 😊
So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning’s devotional, and I pray that you will take heed to it.
By faith, how are you prudently planning for a wise future?
In your planning are you putting God first? Are you seeking God and his Kingdom as Matthew 6:33 states, making sure that you are asking God to not only be in charge of your planning in your family, and your daily life, but also in every aspect of it? I pray that in all your decision making, planning, and whatever else you may be considering, that you be sure to put God first in it. Remember what James 4:12 says, and how life is short, and you want to make sure that what you plan for Christ truly lasts. I'm not saying don't plan for your future, but I'm saying make sure that you're not leaving Christ out of it. In short, don't be afraid to work and plan for your future, but make sure that in every decision you make, you include God in it, and put Him first in all of it.
