When the Dice Don't Roll

lyrics:
Gather 'round this table of dreams
We're warriors wizards and thieves
But the light in his eyes
It's faded can you believe

Maps spread wide across the land
Miniatures in each of our hands
He sighs heavy bows his head
Says sorry but the spark is dead

When the dice don’t roll tonight
Our hero’s stuck in the fight
Dark clouds shroud his weary mind
Can’t be our guide he's left behind

Books and papers dungeon walls
In his heart the story falls
We hold our breath waiting still
Wondering how to help him feel

He built our world from dust and hope
Now he's spiraling down a slope
No escape trapped in a cage
Can't turn the page can't set the stage

When the dice don’t roll tonight
Our hero’s stuck in the fight
Dark clouds shroud his weary mind
Can’t be our guide he's left behind

Knowing he let down us adventurers three
He suggest a game, a store of management, gotten for free
Trading swords and bows for price guns and checkouts
Changing bugbears and goblins for customers and Rogert.
Though I guess customers are still kinda goblins.

He hoped we could be happy with this game
Two accepted while one said lame
And so shelfs were stocked and items sold
Though the game of selling quickly got old

So with a heavy sigh he said good night
Hoping that we could forgive him during his plight
Could we though?
It was why we all got together and he failed us
HE FAILED US
FAILURE! (Failure)(Failure)(Failure)
