Dionysus God of Christianity

The allusions that the New Testament Jesus gives to Dionysus draws a significant parallel. Dionysus, the effiminate character is arrested and questioned by King Pentheus, giving the same ambiguous answers as Jesus did to Pontius Pilate. Both man-gods (Logoi) die and are resurrected.
