Qurantradictions - Hafs vs Warsh Quran variants.,

Did you know the Quran has different variants that change its meaning, falsifying the claim of perfect preservation? Let’s explore three key differences between the Hafs and Warsh versions.

First, in Quran 2:125, Hafs says “you shall take,” but Warsh says “they have taken,” shifting the command’s target.

Second, in Quran 3:146, Hafs reads “fought” for prophets, while Warsh says “was killed,” altering their role from warriors to victims.

Finally, in Surah 24, Hafs curses “him,” but Warsh invokes wrath on “her,” changing the gender and identity of the accused.

These variations in wording, found in Islamic texts, contradict the idea of a perfectly preserved Quran, of which 45 known canonical variants exist.
