“Al-Soumoud” (Steadfastness)

A major solidarity convoy named “Al-Soumoud” (Steadfastness) departed from Tunis early Monday, June 9, embarking on a historic journey to Gaza. Nearly 1,000 Tunisians, joined by activists from Algeria, Libya, and Mauritania, are traveling overland through Libya and Egypt en route to the Rafah crossing.

The convoy includes doctors, lawyers, journalists, students, and aid workers. Organized by the Joint Action Coordination for Palestine, the mission aims to break the siege on Gaza and advocate for the entry of humanitarian aid, medical teams, and journalists.
