Blanket Chest with Celtic Cross inlay - March 2019

I don't have much in-process video of this project. A friend from church asked me to make this for her using some wood she had cut and processed from her property. I hand carved the cross, then scribed, chiseled and routed out the recess by hand. The body of the chest is white oak. The inset Celtic Cross is walnut.
