Young Male Cardinal is this Week’s Bird Feeder Cam Star Along with Several Unusual Bird Visitors

This week’s birdwatching at our bird feeder cam brought some fun and fascinating visitors! The star of the show was a young male cardinal, who stopped by regularly—still growing into his bright red plumage, but already stealing the spotlight.

We also had frequent visits from a brown, striped bird—we’re not 100% sure what species it is (sparrow, maybe?), so feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!

A wren made the occasional appearance, mostly to sing its heart out rather than snack. Toward the end of the video, there were a few unexpected and unusual sightings that made the week even more exciting—we were thrilled to catch them on camera.
