Magician 250 Shift Lever Repair Parts

7min video. Just giving parts replacement to repair the shift lever assembly. the rod end ball joint part is M6x1mm both the threaded stud and threaded holes are the same key words to use on ebay or search engine " rod end ball joint head right angle
M6". the threaded bar is also M6x1mm the key words to use "threaded rod all thread M6" the length i cut this rod was 64mm but it will vary from bike to bike so measure and make certain to leave extra to trim off cause it's easier to remove metal than to add it. bike has about 48k miles on it at the time of making this video but i swapped out the lever assembly at about 35k miles using the assembly from the 2022 Magician.

UPDATE 7-17-2025 last night this ball joint broke! yeah! it's crazy! i think the material they used for the m6 threaded stud is inferior. the merchant on ebay didn't say what grade of steel was used. this is a problem when using your foot to shift, it needs to be probably 10.8 if not stronger, i don't think it was even the standard 8.8 in strength, but i'm not an engineer but i do feel i am correct on this. i might have to make another video using a different design, but i won't and will update if i just go with m8 components. if i do redesign it i think i can use high strength I-bolts to get it done with 10.8 standard bolts. either way i will inform you what path i take and if a new video deems necessary then i will post a link here on this video with an update.
