Bigotry, Christian Bigotry, and Confirmation Bias

George Yancey posted his reaction to an article in Politico, “State Department tells employees to report on one another for ‘anti-Christian bias” which outlines some important issues and challenges. Does bigotry exist? Yes! Does bigotry against Christians exist? Does anti-religious bias exist? Is every slight or suspicion of slight demonstrate bias and bigotry or does confirmation bias elevate claims of bias and bigotry from both the Left and Right side?
