This video briefly considers the Big Question whether minds exist and can understand the universe because the mind of God or principium rationis permeates it or if rocks that just happen to float around empty space, given enough time, can make up their own minds.

This fundamental dichotomy leads to tensions between two kinds of people. The first believe they are gods and laws unto themselves, and seek to impose their will on others. The second believe they must submit to the law of God/nature or suffer the consequences.

Philosophers across the world have always agreed, since ancient times, that “the way” of God, nature or heaven is “to be perfect” (e.g., Genesis 17:1 & Matthew 5:48); that is, Mushlam in Hebrew or Muslim in Arabic. The Tao, Halakha, Sharia and physics (Gk. Phusis) all literally mean the way of God or nature. The Greek word for “perfect”, for example, is Teleios, whence the term teleology, signifying the end or purpose.

Religions or philosophies associated with a particular ethnic group or their leaders or founders are typically named after them. Needless to say, ethno-religions and tribal gods are false by their very nature, since they are cults of personality or people worshiping their own fetishes.
