Tarot is very much a mystery even in the world today, for even its origins are somewhat elusive at best. While it may appear at first that the cards emerged as a game in the 13th century, their archetypes, numerology, and other symbolic connections draw many paralells with ancient Egyptian and Hebrew mysticism.
