In the Garage With EHR: Firing the Barn Find 1976 Eldorado for the 1st time

I bought a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible sight unseen. And I don't really know why. Maybe because it is the last of the 500" Caddy engines, maybe because it was the last domestic convertible for a decade, maybe because it is a Bicentennial year, or maybe I just wasn't thinking. It had sat for at least a decade since it was last started and it was last on the road 25 years ago. It is in pretty decent shape and doesn't have much rust, but will the big 500 cubic inch engine start easy or give us trouble? Will the trans work? What about the brakes? Can the top drop? Watch and find out.
