The fruit of the Spirit, as described in Galatians 5:22-23, refers to nine qualities or gifts produced in the lives of those who are led by the Holy Spirit. These include love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These qualities are a contrast to the works of the flesh and reflect the character of God.
