Here you can read about an elderly "care" facility, where the poor helpless old folks were treated worse than POW's in a country with complete disregard for the Geneva Convention. AND PLEASE MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT - THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED CASE, NOT AN EXCEPTION, BUT RATHER THE RULE - THIS IS HOW VULNERABLE PATIENTS AND INDIVIDUALS ARE TREATED REGULARLY HERE IN THE HELLHOLE OF bulgaria, IN HOSPITALS AND CLINICS AND CARE FACILITIES ALL OVER THIS DISGUSTING "country" OF MINE. And the completely corrupt authorities here are not only intentionally ignoring such crimes against humanity, but are protecting the perpetrators for as long as comfortable/possible, because the same "care providers" are the ones who line the pockets of the criminal bulgarian government and police.

The Council of Europe's European Committee For The Prevention of Torture (CPT) for instance, spoke out on social care institution and psychiatric hospitals specifically in 2021.
It said in a statement: 'For more than 25 years now, the CPT has consistently expressed its deep concern regarding a number of issues concerning the treatment, conditions and legal safeguards offered to patients with psychiatric disorders and residents of social care institutions.'
Despite strongly recommending 'decisive action', it added: 'Unfortunately, in the course of the Committee’s most recent visits to Bulgaria in 2017, 2020, and 2021, the CPT’s delegations have witnessed a continuing lack of such action.' "
