Differences Between Modern Ireland (Under The EU), & Colombia (Scary 3rd World Nation?)

A lot of people have a lot of negative ideas about parts of the developing world they have never been to. Ireland, my home country, has been dealing with a subversion campaign under the anti-European Union -- like the rest of Western Europe. Is a 'Third World' like Colombia more socially harmonious compare to Western European nations since The EU has flooded Europe with opportunistic immigrants from African, Arab/Muslim nations and India?
