FYI: I have proposed to the White House that Graham and Blumenthal be prosecuted and sentenced by a Trump-appointed judge. Lawfare? Additionally, I proposed methods of execution. My suggestion that both be castrated prior to execution was declined. I also volunteered to carry out the executions.

In England, quartering was a brutal part of the execution process reserved for those convicted of high treason, typically men. It was part of the punishment known as "hanging, drawing, and quartering." The condemned was first hanged until nearly dead, then cut down while still alive. Their entrails were drawn out and often burned before them. Finally, the body was divided into four parts, or "quartered," with the sections sent to different places as a public warning. The head was often displayed separately. This gruesome penalty was meant to deter rebellion against the Crown and was a standard punishment for treason until later centuries. Women convicted of treason were typically burned at the stake instead, as quartering was deemed too indecent for them.
