Clashes in Los Angeles as protests against immigration raids continue

Protests in Los Angeles over ongoing immigration raids have entered a second day, with clashes erupting in the Paramount area following new detentions. In response, President Trump is deploying 2,000 National Guard troops to the city, a move California Governor Gavin Newsom called “inflammatory.” As tensions rise, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth warned that continued unrest could prompt the deployment of active-duty Marines.
