How the devil leads many people into not believing on Jesus

The devil, or Satan, does not want people to believe in Jesus since the devil knows that people will go to heaven if they believe on Jesus. So the devil tells people to repent of their sins to get to heaven through his false prophets. The word repent means to change one's mind, and it does not mean to turn from one's sins. Repenting one's sins is works and you cannot work your way to heaven by repenting of your sins. Salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone.
