Hi, I’m Sal Lopez Executive Director of Ozark Hunger Relief, I am doing this to hopefully find some sponsors (tax deductible donations) for an office in Prairie Grove, Ar. I have seen and fed many children who wander around here. I thought if I started a non-profit, the community would be happy to help. Nope! I’ve had nothing but suspicion, derision, denial, and was ripped off for everything I had, by another food pantry. They offered to help, then when I delivered everything, I had, then they told me to stay away from them, but subsequently asked me for more donations. It has been horribly depressing, but I will persevere and get this office open.
My vision is to be a community resource center, but the main goal is to feed hungry kids, whose parents are drug addicts, and/or alcoholics. I guess some are just poor. Anyway, I need help and will advertise for you, and have signs of acknowledgement for every donor, proportionate for the donation.
Anyway, this episode is Genesis 44 a chapter that’s overflowing with God’s love, grace, and the amazing plans He has for you as His child! This might seem like an old story about Joseph and his brothers, but I believe God has a powerful message here that’s going to fill your heart with joy today. This is about how our loving Father sees us, restores us, and wants the very best for us. So, get ready to be lifted up, because God’s love is working in your life right now!

Let’s set the scene. In Genesis 44, Joseph, now a powerful leader in Egypt, tests his brothers who once betrayed him. He hides a silver cup in Benjamin’s sack, accuses them of theft, and watches their reaction. But what starts as a tense moment turns into a beautiful display of love and forgiveness. It’s a story of God’s heart for His children, and today, I want to share three incredible truths from Genesis 44 that will inspire you to trust God’s love, embrace His restoration, and step into the best He has for you!
Truth #1: God Loves You Unconditionally!
First, let’s look at verses 1 to 13, where Joseph sets up the test. He plants the cup and lets his brothers leave, only to send his steward after them with the accusation. The brothers are shocked, pleading their innocence, because they’ve changed since their past mistakes. Joseph could have held a grudge, but this test shows he’s looking for their hearts.

Friends, this is so amazing: God loves you unconditionally! Just like Joseph didn’t give up on his brothers, God never gives up on you. Maybe you’ve made mistakes, felt unworthy, or carried guilt, but I want you to know: God sees you as His precious child. Romans 8:38-39 says, “Nothing can separate us from the love of God.” His love is bigger than your past—it’s a love that lifts you up every day!

I want to encourage you to receive that love. Don’t let shame hold you back. Look in the mirror and say, “I am a child of God, and He loves me!” His unconditional love is your foundation—feel it, embrace it, and let it set you free!
Truth #2: God Restores His Children with Grace!
Now, let’s jump to verses 14 to 34, where Judah steps up. The brothers return, and Judah offers to take Benjamin’s place, showing a heart transformed by love and responsibility. This is the turning point—Joseph sees their change, and soon he’ll reveal himself, bringing the family back together. It’s a restoration only God could orchestrate.

This is fantastic: God restores His children with grace! Just like He turned the brothers’ guilt into reconciliation, God can take your broken places and make them beautiful. Maybe you’ve lost relationships or dreams, but I want you to know: God’s grace is at work. Joel 2:25 says, “I will restore to you the years the locusts have eaten.” He’s bringing back what was stolen!

I want you to believe in that restoration. Pray boldly, “God, restore me!” Watch how He heals your heart, mends your life, and sets you on a path of joy. Your comeback is coming, and it’s powered by His amazing grace.
Truth #3: God Wants the Best for You!
Finally, let’s see the bigger picture in this chapter. Joseph’s test leads to a reunion, fulfilling God’s plan to save His people through Joseph’s rise in Egypt. What started with betrayal ends in blessing, showing God’s love always leads to the best outcome for His children.

Friends, this is the best news: God wants the best for you! He’s not just getting you by—He’s preparing a future filled with His goodness. Joseph’s story proves that God can take any situation and turn it into a victory. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” That’s God’s heart for you!

I want you to live with that expectation. Don’t settle for less—dream big, believe big, because your Father in heaven is lining up blessings, opportunities, and joy just for you. Your best days are ahead, and God’s love is leading the way!
Your Best Life Starts Now!
As we close, let me encourage you with this: Genesis 44 is about God’s unconditional love, His restoring grace, and His best plans for you as His child. Joseph’s brothers found forgiveness, and you can find it too—God’s love is transforming your story!

Maybe you’re watching this and thinking, “Joel, I need that love. I want God’s best.” I want to invite you to take a step of faith right now. Say this with me: “God, I receive Your love. I believe You’re restoring me and giving me Your best. Fill me with Your peace!” If you’re ready to give your heart to Jesus, pray this: “Lord Jesus, I believe You’re my Savior. Forgive my sins, love me as Your child, and lead me to Your best. Amen.”

Friends, God loves you with an everlasting love, and He’s got the best in store for you, just like He did for Joseph’s family. Step out in faith, embrace His grace, and expect His blessings. Your brightest days are here, and God’s love is shining on you! Amen.
Well until next week God Bless You and remember to focus on you are Blessed! you deserve the best! and you deserve to be healed!
