Panzer Arms Ranch12

Today I’m checking out the Panzer Arms Ranch12, a magazine-fed semi-auto 12 gauge shotgun with a Turkish walnut stock. Right out of the box it feels solid and looks great, with an 18.5″ barrel, 3″ chamber and 5+1 capacity—including one in the chamber . The wood cheekpiece is smooth and comfortable, though I’d like more texture on the grip. Its two-stage, flat-trigger break runs about 5.5–6.5 lbs, and the M-LOK aluminum forend makes it easy to attach lights or lasers—just keep those hand-stop bolts clear of the action. Reloading is simple thanks to the ambidextrous mag release and charging handle (you can swap sides), and the long Picatinny rail and wide magwell make mounting optics and swapping magazines a breeze.

On the range it handled turkey loads, slugs and buckshot with only a couple of early failures-to-feed—about 100 rounds smooths it out. With low muzzle rise and quick swing-through, it recoils less than a pump gun but not quite as soft as a Beretta 1301. Flip-up polymer sights are fine to 50 yards, though I’d eventually swap to steel for longevity. Interchangeable chokes and QD sling mounts on both sides round out its versatility.
