Episode 7 — “Reaping Harvest”

The countdown to Shavuot ends where every seed sown finally bears its fruit: two sickles, two harvests, one immutable law—we reap what we sow (Gal 6 :7-8).
Revelation 14 shows Yeshua riding a cloud, reaping the golden wheat of the righteous, while a second angel swings his sickle into the vine of the earth—its grapes crushed in the wine-press of God’s wrath. Tonight we trace how this dual harvest fulfills every earlier signpost: Firstfruits, Jubilee trumpets, Jericho’s fall, and the Shavuot promise of an ingathering beyond imagination.

What We’ll Cover

• The Cloud-Rider and His Wheat
• Rev 14 :14-16 · Dan 7 :13-14 — the Son of Man completes the harvest begun at Shavuot.
• Matt 13 — angels separate wheat from look-alike tares, proving “sowing and reaping” is cosmic law.

• The Angel of the Vine
• Rev 14 :17-20 · Isa 63 :1-6 — the grapes of wrath flow because the earth “sowed to the flesh” (Gal 6 :8).
• Joel 3 :12-14 — multitudes face the consequences of their own seed.

• Two Trumpets, Two Outcomes
• Lev 25 — Jubilee shofar liberates the land; Nu 10 — trumpets also summon judgment on enemies.
• How Shavuot’s joyful ingathering and Yom Kippur’s solemn reckoning meet in the final feast.

• Angelic Reapers in Scripture & Second-Temple Writings
• 1 Enoch 56 & 90 — angels dispatched to “measure and reap” nations according to their deeds.
• Qumran War Scroll — heaven’s host fights beside the righteous remnant they helped cultivate.

• Destiny of Wheat & Grapes
• Wheat rises into New Jerusalem (Rev 21) for the marriage supper.
• Grapes become the “cup of wrath” poured out in the bowls (Rev 15-16).

Field Lesson — Sow for the Spirit, Reap Eternal Life
1. Examine the Seed – What are you planting daily? Words, habits, investments all germinate (Gal 6 :7-9).
2. Nurture Maturity – Allow the Spirit’s fruit to ripen; immature grain cannot be gathered.
3. Proclaim Jubilee – Sow freedom and forgiveness now, previewing the joyful harvest to come.
