21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA PRECIOUS FRIENDS!!!
What it is about this passage of scripture, that seems to tie people up within the body of Christ and emotional knots, but I think it's because there are people out there that want to use it to browbeat, manipulate, and terrify others into submission, and I find that really disgusting. The Lord's supper shouldn't be used in such a manner, neither should it be approached disrespectfully, but yet people are doing all of the above! But another thing I'm learning out of having read this passage of scripture, is that coming to the Lord's table is a time to come together as one in Christ regardless of race, skin color, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, past, etcetera, and we need to really think about how we celebrate this precious event.

I think that's why the questions from this morning’s devotional, were especially challenging as well as encouraging to my heart, and I had to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God will speak to your heart through them as well.

What is meaningful to you about communion?

How does communion point to believers’ unity in Jesus?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me out of this passage of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you not only shows you what communion really means, but that it is a celebration that is to be shared with ALL believers in Christ. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn what it means to celebrate the Lord's supper as one community in Him! 😊

So, friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that we not only learn to treat the Lord's table with the reverence and respect it deserves, but that we remember that the Lord's table is one in which EVERY believer in Christ is welcomed too. I pray especially that we as the body of Christ remember just WHO it is that we celebrate in this event, and that this event is meant to be celebrated with EVERY believer in Christ regardless of race, skin color, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or past. I want to echo Lisa's words from the morning’s devotional, when she states, “when we proclaim, or remember, Jesus’ sacrifice when we take communion, we act as one community of believers across the world and throughout time. It is as a beautiful image of the unity of the church.”
