Life prevailed. They failed to decriminalize killing babies in their mother's womb. It happened in Guanajuato, Mexico, which managed to put a stop to a trend pushed by Morena, the ruling party, where state by state they have managed to impose this practice that goes against the Constitution, which recognizes the right to life.

However, through the courts — even the Supreme Court — there is pressure to normalize this violent practice.

It is worth noting that it was a very close margin: 19 votes against and 17 in favor.

And we must highlight the role of PAN, the National Action Party, which has historically been conservative, but in recent years has yielded a lot to the progressive agenda.

But now it said enough. It managed to be faithful to its principles instead of succumbing to pressure.

The Congress of the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, rejected a proposal to decriminalize abortion, thereby keeping it illegal in the state. The vote was very close, with 19 legislators against and 17 in favor. This outcome represents a setback for the ruling party, Morena, which has promoted the legalization of abortion in several states across the country. Despite political and judicial pressure, including rulings from the Supreme Court, the Guanajuato Congress chose to maintain the current legislation that protects life from conception. The National Action Party (PAN), which has a strong presence in the state, played a key role in blocking the initiative, reaffirming a conservative stance in the face of the advancing progressive agenda on abortion.
