Why would Michael McFaul say that he does not think Trump will be in power in 3 years?

Why would color revolutionary Michael McFaul say that he does not think Trump will be in power in three years? No telling what he told the Chinese. He already said he told people in Munich that Ukraine should hold off until the midterms which no doubt means the democrats plan on impeaching Trump and will continue funding their war.
