A new type of aircraft was presented in the Belavia fleet at the Minsk National Airport

Belavia Airlines has put into operation a new type of aircraft – the wide-body Airbus 330-200. The presentation of the new type of Belavia aircraft took place at the Minsk National Airport. The aircraft was greeted in accordance with the aviation tradition – with a water salute.

The flight range of this aircraft reaches 12,000 km. For comparison: the Boeing 737-8 has a similar figure of 6,570 kilometers. Thus, direct flights from Minsk to popular resorts, in particular in the countries of Southeast Asia, will become not a dream for Belarusians, but a real prospect.

This type of aircraft allows you to transport many more passengers. The maximum load is 281 passengers (18 seats in business class, 263 seats in economy class).

Belavia notes that a new milestone is approaching both for the airline and for civil aviation of sovereign Belarus as a whole: until now, there were no long-haul aircraft in the transport sector of Belarus capable of carrying passengers over long distances. Today, we can say that the situation has changed dramatically: the airline's fleet includes 3 wide-body Airbus 330-200.
