Overcoming the Challenges of Suppressing Creativity or Passion - Dr. Ken Muyenzi
3 months ago
225
In the pursuit of stability, approval, or survival, many people suppress their innate creativity or passions—sometimes unknowingly. While this might bring short-term order or acceptance, the long-term effects can be deeply damaging to mental health. Suppressing creativity or passion often results in a loss of purpose, emotional numbness, and symptoms of anxiety or depression. Overcoming this suppression is not simply a matter of returning to hobbies; it is an act of reclaiming one’s identity and emotional freedom.
