The Death of Jesus Christ

Following his arrest and sham trial, Jesus was setenced to death. The death sentence was carried, preceded by mocking the man with beating and toture, and the crucifixion at the hands of the Romans. This was a common execution method at the time. Christ died a horrendous death. At he was brought down from the cross, he was placed inside the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea.
