Rep. Brandon Gill would like to see Senate adjust SALT cap in ‘big, beautiful bill’

Representative Brandon Gill (R-TX) says he’d like to see the Senate lower the cap set on state and local tax (SALT) deductions by the House in the reconciliation package. “I think there are some things on the green new deal that they can work on as well. But by and large, I think they’re going to get this bill done,” he says. Gill expects the Senate-edited bill to be sent back and passed by the House before July 4.
