People say: “Keep the faith!” Or “Well, we’re of the same faith. Or “Yes, I have faith in a higher power.” Or “I’m of the Christian faith. After all, I believe what the Bible says.” And on and on. There are so many different “faiths” or religions and factions within these religions that just counting them would be a monumental task, much less trying to figure out what they have faith in!
But when the Lord speaks about faith, none of these are what He is speaking of. Faith is difficult to define! Sometimes we say faith is equal to trust, but trying to make it that simple is also incorrect. The Lord says,
“Prophet, tell the people that this is what I AM looking for in regard to faith: I AM looking for ..."
