Football legend Sir David Beckham set to be knighted

According to news sources, David Beckham will officially receive the title of knight (Sir) next week on the occasion of the birthday of King Charles III;

A long-awaited honor, his wife Victoria Beckham, fashion designer and former Spice Girls member, will now be known as "Lady Beckham."

Beckham, 50, who has played more than 100 times for the England national football team and captained the team for many years, has received special attention for his effective role in charity and support for underprivileged children, in addition to his sporting activities.

The Beckhams' presence in royal circles has become more prominent in recent years, including at the Chelsea Flower Show last month, where they were seen alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla, and at a special UK-Italy relations dinner held at Charles's private mansion in Highgrove in February.

David Beckham is currently an official ambassador for the King's Foundation, supporting the organization's educational programs to raise awareness of nature among young people. He has also made his passion for the environment known in recent years, including his love of beekeeping.
