Join me as I dive into my first-ever ACYOA General Assembly and Sports Weekend – a vibrant, spiritual, and high-energy event hosted by the Armenian Church Youth Organization of America in Detroit, Michigan.

💬 Connecting with the Eastern Diocese youth network, this trip was filled with meaningful moments, deep fellowship, and unforgettable experiences. I traveled with my friends Michael and Andy, from our St. Hagop Armenian Church in Pinellas Park, FL, while also partnering with our friends from the Jacksonville crew.

📍 Event Highlights:

☦️ General Assembly at St. John’s Armenian Church
🖼️ Armenian Museum
🚌 First time ever on a U.S. school bus (lol)
🎱 Bar night at Fifth Avenue Royal Oak
🏐 Played pickleball, tavloo, volleyball, basketball, and video games
🕊️ Sunday Badarak with powerful sermon by Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan
🎶 Epic banquet night with DJs, professional Armenian dancers, and live music
