Leaked Email Shows Ubisoft is Hiding Their DEI Commitments Following String of Failures

It would appear according to a leaked internal email that Ubisoft is still committed to pushing DEI despite a recent social media post that suggested such a thing was behind them.

In the past executives at Ubisoft have affirmed their commitment to pushing DEI, not only within the company, but also in the games they produce. This is believed to be a large reason why their games in recent years have failed which has resulted in the game developer selling off assets. Since the high-profile failure of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, it appeared maybe that have turned over a new leaf, even going so far as not to make an LGBT pride post on June 1st. However, a leaked internal email says they are still committed as a company to that cause and it seems as if they’re only trying to conceal that because they know it’s toxic to their brand.
