Should Bikers Care If Drivers Use Phones Whilst Driving?

Of course driving and using your phone is a real hazard to other road users especially bikers, but there are some cyclists and motorcyclists who routinely take videos of offending drivers and not only confront them and mock them in videos, but as well as alerting police they also post this over social media. Is this the right thing to do?
