The Apache Death Cave is the most haunted cave in Arizona. It is an abandoned site off the freeway in the Arizona desert that carries a deep, horrible history. After attacking a local Navajo settlement, an Apache raiding group evaded Navajo retaliation by hiding in this cave. Eventually, the Navajo found this group hiding in this cave and trapped them inside. The trapped Apache raiding group met their demise, and the cave was never used again for refuge. Is this cave haunted? Cursed? When businesses attempted to capitalize on the site, they would quickly fail and leave the land abandoned and forgotten. Is the curse of the Apache Death Cave still continuing to this day, or is it a protected burial ground? Come with me as I explore the Apache Death Cave on this episode of Horrible History.
