For I Desire MERCY and not sacrifice.

It has always astounded me how many followers of Jesus who are unwilling to follow the First Commandment.
If God wants the endless flowing blood of scared innocents what does the Devil want- carnations and chocolate?! If the least stained are betrayed by their maker what does the Devil offer - a cup of tea and bandaids?!
It seems to me like a gaslighting narcissistic interceder got between Jesus and his true believers when I see innocents being sacrificed and egos glorified 💔😞
