Pests, Corruption, etc.

The apartment, itself, is infestation free. There's a spider here and there, but most of them are beneficial. As a boy and young adult, I was deathly afraid of spiders, but now I like them. I still fear crickets, and they stink, too. One should fear their presence, because that defensive spray is toxic.

My former co-worker sprung a frog-sit on me at the last minute, about 20 years ago, after I'd agreed to house and dog sit for a week. The frog belonged to the daughter from a family with whom Dory and The Mycho were likely traveling. Why am I mentioning frog-sitting? The diet was 2 crickets per day. Most of them were dead or nearly dead in the last few days of the house-sitting. I had to time the frog's focus just right as I did my best to scare the nearly dead crickets into action. Without cricket antics, the frog wisely presumed death. The frog died about a month later, if I remember correctly, so no one could pin it on me. Even if they could, what would they do? Frogs are boring pets in addition to being stinky. Some fish, at least, are entertaining, and their odor isn't that bad.
