Once a quiet presence in the asylum’s south wing, Nurse Marina Lopes was known for her silence. She never raised her voice. Never questioned orders. But patients said she heard things—things no one else could. Voices in vents. Screams behind sealed walls. Words that crawled under the skin.

Her room, 4B, became a black hole of sound. Visitors claimed to feel watched… or worse, heard.

After her disappearance in 1974, staff sealed off the room. Her name was scratched into the doorframe—deep, deliberate:
“Marina Lopes – The Listener.”

Now, they say she’s still there. Not in body, but in breath.
Whispers rise when you step too close. Microphones pick up a second voice.
