This matchup features two veteran quarterbacks with plenty to prove in 2025:

Jeremiah Masoli – Ottawa Redblacks
After battling injuries the last two seasons, Masoli is finally healthy and ready to lead a retooled Ottawa offense. Known for his escapability and poise, Masoli last saw full-season action in 2021, but coaches say he’s looked sharp in training camp and preseason reps. This year could be his true comeback campaign.

Trevor Harris – Saskatchewan Roughriders
Harris started the 2023 season strong for the Riders before a knee injury cut his year short. In 2024, he returned to post 3,217 passing yards and 18 touchdowns with a 65% completion rate. While age is becoming a factor, Harris remains one of the CFL’s most accurate and intelligent passers. Saskatchewan is counting on his leadership to guide them back to playoff relevance.

What to Expect Tonight 🧠
The Redblacks defense will try to disrupt Harris’ timing, especially early, while Masoli will need time to get back into real-game rhythm.

Riders’ receiving corps, led by young breakout WRs, gives Harris a balanced attack.

Ottawa’s backfield, revamped with some new additions, looks to control tempo and protect their QB.
