Another major scandal is unfolding in Congress as it’s revealed that the Biden administration diverted billions of taxpayer dollars through radical NGOs to advance far-left agendas on both immigration and climate. The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has launched a formal investigation into the so-called Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF), used by the Biden-run Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to channel federal money into progressive groups executing the president’s Green New Deal scheme.

In a key hearing this week, witnesses laid out how the GGRF operated as a covert funding mechanism for left-wing nonprofits tied to Democrat donors and operatives. These groups, masquerading as environmental or humanitarian causes, were awarded massive grants while working to destabilize America’s energy infrastructure and facilitate illegal immigration at the southern border.

The corruption is twofold: first, the misuse of federal funds to promote leftist ideology; second, the political cronyism between Biden’s administration and loyalist organizations. Many of the grantees are run by former campaign aides, major donors, or individuals with direct ties to Cabinet members. These elites sit on each other’s boards, forming a closed loop of influence, power, and financial gain.

As one committee member put it, “What we’re witnessing is an ideological pyramid scheme bankrolled by hardworking American taxpayers. Every dollar handed to these groups is a dollar stolen from American security, prosperity, and sovereignty.”

The most concerning impact is on U.S. energy security. Green NGOs, granted over $20 billion, have pushed to shut down reliable power plants, halt drilling projects, and stigmatize fossil fuels. The outcome? Soaring utility bills, grid instability, and increased vulnerability during weather events — all while middle-class families struggle to make ends meet.

On top of this, many of these same NGOs have redirected funds toward so-called “humanitarian” aid and legal support for illegal migrants. It’s not a coincidence: it’s a coordinated effort to reshape America’s demographics, disrupt election integrity, and dismantle the Constitution under the guise of compassion and climate justice.

Thankfully, under President Trump, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin acted swiftly to halt this program and shut down the GGRF. Still, Republicans are calling for stronger action: independent audits, possible criminal charges, and firm legislation to ensure that taxpayer dollars can never again be weaponized through nonprofit proxies.

The real question is: how many more billions are being funneled behind closed doors to destroy America’s values in the name of green progress? Today’s hearings are just the beginning of exposing this growing threat.
