So just for fun, and to prove it could be done, last night I hopped on Grok AI on "X" and created some criteria for a balanced budget. You can read the article that is a direct transcription of my questions and Grok AI's responses. But to cut to the chase, if you keep mandated expenses the same, include all the DOGE cuts, don't include any of the DOGE increases, and cut all other discretionary spending by 30%, you can balance the budget.

Now, will Congress pass a budget with this criteria? Only if you demand it. Send them my article and send it to every other news outlet, post it on social media, and tell everyone that a balanced budget for FY26 exists, they just have to pass it into law.
