Pizza Dippers with Bruce Mitchell on the Blackstone Griddle
Rolling up a little love with sausage, pepperoni, and melty cheese. Bruce's pizza dippers are a family favorite that disappear fast. They’re perfect for dipping and even better for sharing.

Ingredients
1 lb Italian sausage (mild or hot, depending on preference)
1 can pizza dough or crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup sliced pepperoni
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup pizza sauce, warmed (for dipping)
Directions
1. Preheat a griddle or skillet (such as a Blackstone) over medium heat.
2. Cook the Italian sausage thoroughly until browned, about 5–6 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
3. Roll out the pizza dough on a clean surface.
4. Lightly spread a small amount of pizza sauce onto the dough, being careful not to overdo it.
5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
6. Add a thin layer of cooked sausage followed by a few slices of pepperoni.
7. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
8. Roll the dough tightly into a log, seam side down, then cut into 6 equal portions.
9. Lightly oil the preheated griddle with olive oil.
10. Place the rolls seam-side down on the hot griddle.
11. Cook each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2–3 minutes per side.
12. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
