Experience a powerful evening walk through the east side of Downtown Toronto on a hot and humid early summer day, as temperatures hit 30.9°C, marking the city’s first 30-degree day of the year.

We start our journey at Dundas Street East and Sherbourne Street, passing through one of the most discussed and controversial areas in the city. This area—Sherbourne and Dundas—has been labeled Toronto's most dangerous neighborhood, with high rates of street robberies and assaults according to a Toronto Star investigation. Walk with us and see the reality beyond the headlines, as we explore Sherbourne Street, continue toward Allan Gardens, and loop through Gerrard Street East and Dundas Street East.

Along the way, we visit Allan Gardens, a historic conservatory and public park in the Garden District of Toronto. Known for its glass-domed greenhouses, it is also a gathering space for the city’s vulnerable population. The park has seen an increase in homeless encampments in recent years, becoming a focal point of Toronto's urban housing crisis.

This video offers a raw, unfiltered look into parts of Toronto that most tourists never see. It blends urban exploration and social life from one of Canada’s largest cities.
