Judge blocks deportation of Boulder attack suspect’s family

A federal judge has temporarily halted the deportation of the wife and five children of Mohamed Sabry Soliman, the Egyptian man charged in the recent Molotov cocktail attack in Boulder, Colorado.

The judge ruled that deporting the family without due process could cause “irreparable harm” while their appeal is pending.

The family, who have not been charged with any crimes, were taken into custody for overstaying their visas.

The White House criticized the ruling, calling it a threat to national security, while DHS officials said the family is rightfully in custody for removal, Axios has reported.

The attack injured 15 people and a dog.
