Shimbar is a lush plain in the northeast of Khuzestan Province, on the Andika-Shahr-Kord road. Shimbar is on the main migration route of Bakhtiari tribes from the tropical regions of Khuzestan to the mountains and cold regions of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.
