Join me trackside on the busy BNSF Chicago Subdivision—also known as the BNSF Racetrack—on a rainy day of railfanning where I catch a great mix of real trains in action. In this video, you'll see two Amtrak passenger trains, several Metra commuter trains, and two BNSF freight trains all braving the wet weather. Despite the rain, I kept filming with the help of a rather goofy-looking camera umbrella to protect my gear and keep the shots clear.
