State Assault Weapon Bans on the Chopping Block? What Snope's Denial Means

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) denied cert on Snope v Brown which was challenging Maryland's assault weapon ban that is clearly unconstitutional and in violation of the Second Amendment.

Justice Kavanaugh gave some hope to gun rights supporters by saying they will probably take up the issue in a term or two, but what that really means is that law-abiding Americans will suffer under unjust law for several more years while awaiting a case going before the Supreme Court.

This is an insult to the Bill of Rights and a definite win for gun control advocates who will use this as an excuse to push for more assault weapon bans in the interim.
