Straight out of a GTA mission, the moment a U.S.-supplied Ukrainian Stryker APC was hijacked by Russian servicemen from the 22nd Motorized Rifle Regiment has gone viral.

The video shows the vehicle being stolen in broad daylight, with a frantic Ukrainian soldier sprinting after it—clearly not ready to give up his ride that easily.

In one swift move, the battlefield turned into an action-comedy.

That unlucky driver?

Well He’s no longer behind the wheel—but with that pace, maybe the Ukrainian Olympic team has a new recruit. 🏃‍♂️💨

Absolutely surreal—and totally priceless.

The M1126 Stryker, developed by General Dynamics Land Systems, is an eight-wheeled, 18-ton infantry carrier vehicle designed for rapid mobility and troop protection.

Powered by a 350-hp Caterpillar diesel engine, it can reach speeds of 60 mph and carry up to nine infantry soldiers.

Equipped with a remote-operated M151 Protector turret, it features a .50-caliber machine gun or MK19 grenade launcher, with modular armor for enhanced defense against small arms and shrapnel.

The U.S. has supplied Ukraine with over 400 Strykers as part of a $2.5 billion aid package, with each vehicle valued at approximately $3 million.

Its advanced thermal sensors and off-road capabilities make it a versatile asset, but this incident highlights vulnerabilities when left unguarded.

This seizure, displayed with the flag of Russia’s 810th Independent Marine Infantry Brigade, underscores Russia’s tactic of capturing and showcasing Western-supplied equipment to bolster its narrative of resilience against NATO-backed forces.

The Stryker now joins other trophies, like the M1 Abrams and Leopard 2A6, exhibited in Moscow to highlight Russian battlefield successes.

The incident, both humiliating for Ukraine and a propaganda win for Russia, proves that in the chaos of war, even high-tech Western hardware isn’t safe from a quick Russian joyride.
